Hauppauge, NY USA – May 5, 2009 – Central Semiconductor Corp. announces the release of the CMLSH2-4LC dual pair, low VF Schottky diodes packaged in the space saving SOT-563 surface mount case. This device has two isolated pairs of 40V, 200mA Schottky diodes in a common cathode configuration making it the world’s smallest discrete dual diode pair device. The CMLSH2-4LC has a typical low VF of 0.24V and a typical switching speed of 3.5ns and is ideal for a wide range of portable battery powered circuit applications.
The CMLSH2-4LC in the six lead SOT-563 case with a maximum height of 0.6mm has a 45% lower profile than its predecessor the SOT-363 (1.1mm) and utilizes 42% less board space. This device is an ideal choice for small electronic products, including: cell/smart phones, MP3 music players, medical test equipment, bar code scanners, PDAs, and notebook computers.
Pricing for the CMLSH2-4LC start at US$0.12 each for 3,000 pcs on 7” tape and reel. Samples are available upon request. Central Semiconductor manufactures leading edge discrete semiconductors and is always eager to explore design engineers' requests for special requirements.
